CHARLOTTE, N.C. – June 14, 2019 – Curvature, the global leader of third-party maintenance and multi-vendor IT lifecycle services, today announced that CFO Sanford Tassel is leaving the company.
Jeannine Serbanich, the company’s VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, has stepped in as interim CFO. During her 12 years with Curvature, she has managed and overseen the global accounting department as well as led financial planning and analysis, business intelligence and data analytics.
“We thank Sanford for his diligent commitment to Curvature over the past two years,” said Don Grantham, Chairman of the Board for Curvature. “His keen business acumen proved invaluable during a time of organizational transformation and growth. We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Tassel joined Curvature in September 2017 from Clarivate Analytics, formerly the Intellectual Property Science Business of Thomson Reuters, where he held the CFO position. He also previously held senior financial positions at Cengage Learning, Pearson Education, BBN and Staples.
“I appreciate the many opportunities to apply my financial background and expertise in supporting Curvature’s business operations during my tenure with the company,” said Tassel. “I am working closely with the executive team to ensure a smooth transition.”
Heidrick & Struggles Executive Search Firm has been engaged in the recruitment for Tassel’s replacement. Appointment and commencement dates are planned to be imminent.
