Curvature VP Randi Mitev Named to Service Industry Association Board

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Aug. 9, 2018 – Curvature, the world’s largest provider of third-party maintenance and multi-vendor network and data center IT lifecycle services, has announced that Randi Mitev, the company’s VP of Global Marketing, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Service Industry Association. Mitev’s appointment will support the association’s mission to foster an open environment of interdependence and cooperation among manufacturers, independent service providers and users with access to best practices, research, advocacy and industry partnerships.

“I am thrilled to join SIA’s board and support their efforts to enhance service industry leadership,” said Mitev. “With more than 140 members, SIA represents the largest global organization dedicated to supporting the high technology service supply chain, including the third-party maintenance (TPM) and independent services operator (ISO) markets. It’s an honor to be a part of this prestigious group.”

Since joining Curvature in March 2014, Mitev has spearheaded the company’s high-impact global marketing programs. In recognition of her achievements, including a worldwide re-branding effort, Mitev was nominated to the 2016 list of the Top 50 Women in Business as chosen by Pacific Coast Business Times. She also was instrumental in driving the seamless orchestration of all activities relating to the 2017 merger between the original Curvature and SMS Systems Maintenance Services, resulting in the rebranded combined company, Curvature, the largest global provider of independent IT support, products and services.

Mitev’s appointment to SIA’s board comes on the heels of a recent SIA regional roundtable event held at Curvature’s global headquarters in Charlotte. Attending members joined industry analyst Rob Brothers, Program VP, Datacenter & Support Services, IDC, for an informative session on changing financial models and their impact on buying behavior. Attendees also toured Curvature’s new 41,716-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, including advanced product testing resources and innovative workspaces to support the company’s expanding engineering, sales, customer support and marketing efforts.

“Randi is a highly skilled professional whose dedication and prowess consistently prove critical to our continued success,” said Peter Weber, CEO of Curvature. “Her marketing leadership and business acumen will be an asset to SIA’s board and member organizations as they collectively strive to elevate the high-tech service industry.”
