Network Hardware Resale Forms Strategic Partnership with Dell Networking Networks to Accelerate Deployment of High-Performance, Scalable Networks

Reseller agreement and asset recovery services support growing adoption of
10 Gigabit Ethernet networking within service provider and enterprise environments

Santa Barbara, Calif. – September 18, 2006 Network Hardware Resale (NHR), a leading provider of high-performance new and pre-owned networking equipment, today announced a partnership agreement with Dell Networking Inc., a pioneer in building and securing high-performance networks. Under the terms of the agreement, NHR will add Dell Networking’s family of resilient and scalable Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches and routers to its portfolio of highly available, cost-effective networking solutions.

As a member of Dell Networking’s PartnerForce authorized reseller program, NHR will sell Dell Networking’s complete product portfolio including TeraScale E-Series® switches and routers to its growing customer base of Global 1000 companies, data centers and telecommunications service providers. According to Rick Stevens, vice president of marketing for NHR, Dell Networking’s best-in-class Ethernet switches are ideal for customers requiring robust performance and massive scalability. “By forging a strategic partnership with Dell Networking, NHR is well positioned to meet the rising demands for increased bandwidth and higher capacity network solutions,” he says. “We look forward to leveraging NHR’s networking expertise and global footprint to extend the reach of Dell Networking’s powerful products around the world.”

In addition to selling new Dell Networking equipment, NHR will partner with Dell Networking’s existing channel and direct sales force to offer asset recovery services. Designed to lower network upgrade costs, NHR will help Dell Networking customers recoup some of their investment in displaced Cisco networking equipment when they migrate to new Dell Networking products. As the leading provider of pre-owned networking equipment, NHR has more than $100 million in equipment inventory as well as substantial sales resources to offer some of the highest market values on excess, end-of-life or depreciated assets.
