Network Hardware Resale Joins United Way “Lunch Bunch” to Support Santa Barbara County Children

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., August 9, 2005 – Network Hardware Resale (NHR) continues its long-time support of Santa Barbara County’s United Way as NHR employees volunteer for the Lunch Bunch program on August 9.

Lunch Bunch connects adults throughout the community with poverty-level children participating in the United Way’s free summer program “Fun in the Sun.” NHR employees will be spending time with children ages six through 16 who are enrolled in the program at the Girls Inc. Goleta Valley Center.

“Network Hardware is pleased to continue its support of the Lunch Bunch program which provides valuable services to hundreds of children in our community,” said Karen Anne Platt, chief financial officer for Network Hardware Resale. “We’ve been thrilled to participate for the last four years, and with the joy it brings to the children as well as our employees, we look forward to it each summer.”

“Network Hardware Resale is a tremendous corporate partner for us in Santa Barbara County,” said Paul Didier, President & CEO of Santa Barbara County’s United Way. “We depend on the generosity of corporations like NHR as well as the kindness of individuals who volunteer their time to help United Way improve the lives of people in our community.”

NHR is committed to providing support and service to its local communities and is a proud corporate sponsor of the United Way. Find out more about Santa Barbara County’s United Way at http://unitedwaysb.org.
