SANTA BARBARA, Calif., October 17, 2005– Network Hardware Resale (NHR) today announced its sponsorship of the 13th Annual Santa Barbara Bike Tour & Fest for Multiple Sclerosis which was held on Saturday, October 15. NHR’s donations topped $3400, combining corporate contributions and funds raised by the 26 NHR employees who participated in the tour.
“We are extremely pleased to contribute to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the fight against MS,” said Bryan Siever, vice president of sales development for NHR and captain of NHR’s cycle team. “This is a worthy cause – one that touches many people personally – and our employees responded enthusiastically, got involved and rode to help ensure that people living with MS have the support they need.”

The MS Bike Tour, now in its 26th year, is the largest organized cycling event in America with 100 tours in 48states. In 2004, the national MS Bike Tour included nearly 100,000 cyclists and raised $47.6 million to fund the fight against MS. This year marks the 13th year of the Santa Barbara MS Bike Tour & Fest. The Santa Barbara event is coordinated by the Channel Islands Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society which serves more than 3,000 people with MS and their families living in the San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties of California.
